Zakaria 1982 presents the director’s journey through the pages of history and his search for Zakaria, whose name accompanied his childhood, and his return, together with his family and friends, to the memories of his life and struggles, including the Israeli invasion of Beirut in 1982.

In the film Ibn Battuta's Aspirations Awaiting by the Closed Doors of Dreams, which is inspired by Ibn Battuta, the director takes on his persona and dreams of being a hero of one of his journeys. However, he faces multiple obstacles on his short trip from the Levant to Egypt.

Chadi Hazime, a Lebanese Arab independent film director, was born on the outskirts of Beirut in 2000. His journey in art began with drawing and later expanded to music and photography. He enrolled at Lebanese University, studying audio-visual arts at the Faculty of Arts, Department of Film and Television, where he discovered his profound interest in realistic documentary cinema, which quickly became a significant focus of his artistic aspirations.
